FactoryFour Appoints Hugh Evans, Additive Manufacturing Veteran, to the Board of Directors



FactoryFour announced the appointment of Hugh Evans to its Board of Directors, effective August 2, 2019.

Background on Hugh Evans

Mr. Evans most recently served as SVP of Corporate Development & Digitization at 3D Systems Corporation (NYSE: DDD) until early 2019. In this role, he led M&A, divestments, technology in-licensing, joint ventures, and venture capital investments on behalf of 3D Systems. He simultaneously held an operating role as the General Manager of the Digitization Business Unit comprising haptics, scanners and Vidar film digitizers.

Previously, he served as a portfolio manager at T. Rowe Price Associates in Baltimore, MD for over 20 years. At T. Rowe Price, he primarily focused on small-capitalization and private equity investments. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of AquaVentures Holdings (NYSE: WAAS).

Hugh has served with a broad number of nonprofit organizations. He was formerly a board member at V-LINC, The T. Rowe Price Foundation and Catholic Charities of Maryland. He is currently on the board of The Arc of the United States and serves on the investment committees of Catholic Charities of Maryland, the Archdiocese of Baltimore (chair), Mercy Hospital, The Chesapeake Bay Foundation, and the R.W. Deutsch Foundation. He also serves The Jefferson Scholars Foundation at The University of Virginia.
